Now web sites can have their PDFs read out loud !
Uppsala, May 15 2009 - VoiceCorp has released today a new version of its ReadSpeaker proReader product. ReadSpeaker proReader reads the text content of web sites out loud and puts users in control on how they want to listen and read the online text. ReadSpeaker proReader enables visitors to :
- Activate the highlighting of the text being spoken and customise how this highlighting should be presented (by word, by phrase, a mix of both or none)
- Pre-select the part of the text on the web page that should be read out loud
- Choose the reading speed
- Show or hide the text as it is being read
- Change the text size and colour as well as the font face
- Give feedback notably on any pronunciation improvements
A new unique feature of ReadSpeaker proReader for web site owners is that they can now also have their PDF files read out. This enhancement enables the web sites that use ReadSpeaker proReader to make more of their online content available in spoken format. The new ReadSpeaker proReader comes with a convenient set of controls so that users can easily navigate within the PDFs and listen to the content of their choice.
