			<title>Speech syntesis with spanish accent</title>
			<link>http://www.voice-corp.com/en/news/speech-syntesis-with-spanish-accent.html</link>
			<description>

a big web campaign (http://www.scan.se/kryddigakorvar) that is rolled out in Sweden. It is Scan, Sweden's leading supplier of charcuterie products, that is launching a new product: A Basque sausage named Txistorra. Within the campain it is possible to send a speech-o-gram to friends. The message is then read to your friend in Swedish but with a very strong Spanish accent.

The Swedish web bureau Locomotiv (http://www.locomotiv.se) have build the campaign and we are providing the speech for the messages. We have provided similar campain earlier with speech. But the new and innovative with this campaign is to use a voice with another language than the text. We made some tricks to get the perfect accent.

The service used for this is rSpeak SpeechMachine. It is our OEM solution for text-to-speech. We have two different price models for SpeechMachine. You pay either for the capacity needed OR for the speech generated. Contact us if you have an idea on speech-enabling a web campaign or a web application to make it more interactive or innovative.
